Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a hands-on Dispatch Lead for a temp role in Wiri. You will split time between the warehouse (about 30%) and office administration (about 70%), coordinating goods leaving the warehouse and supporting the dispatch team.

This position may extend beyond the initial term depending on workload. Valid forklift certification and ability to lift and move stock are required, with excellent MS Office and customer service skills essential.

Qualifications

• MS Office skills and strong administration and customer service experience.
• Experience in a dispatch environment with ability to ship products efficiently.
• Experience with inventory systems.
• Forklift certificate and ability to load trucks.
• Able to lift, bend and move product physically in a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small dispatch team of two.
• Undertake general warehouse duties (≈30%).
• Handle administration for outgoing goods (≈70%).

Temp dispatch role to start asap in Wiri. Logistics admin skill + forklift and warehouse skills

Our Wiri client is seeking a new team member to lead their dispatch team of 2. It's a hands on role with potential for some lifting. You'll be undertaking general warehouse duties as well as the administration for the goods leaving the warehouse. About 30% of duties in the warehouse, and 70% office work. This role is initially a temping position, but depending on continued workload there's potential for long term work.

You need

• Excellent MS Office skills, administration and customer service skills
• Experience working in a dispatch environment, and the ability to efficiently send product where they need to go.
• Experience with inventory systems
• Forklift cert and able to load trucks
• Able to lift, bend and move product physically around the warehouse as needed
• $26 - $28 / hr depending on experience
