Job summary

NZCL in Feilding is seeking energetic Support Workers to assist rangatahi and tamariki with day-to-day living, community participation, and independence. You will work within a supportive team to help clients achieve personal goals in a safe environment.

We offer full-time and casual roles with afternoon and overnight shifts, training towards NZQA Health & Wellbeing, and benefits. NZ Residents or valid work permits only; a current driver’s licence is required (training provided).

Qualifications

• Experience supporting others with daily living
• Experience with high complex behaviours
• Understanding of positive behaviour support
• Full driver’s licence and ability to transport clients
• Flexible to work overnight shifts on a roster

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support with daily living, personal care, and community involvement
• Assist clients to develop independence and skills in the community
• Support 24/7 cover with team rostering and safe transport where needed
