Are you passionate about digital marketing, data-driven decision making, and delivering high-performing online campaigns? RotoruaNZ is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive – Performance and Channels to help grow Rotorua's profile as a destination of choice to visit, live, work, study and invest.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and optimising RotoruaNZ's paid digital campaigns, website performance, search visibility, audience engagement, and marketing technology. Using data, testing, and audience insights, you'll identify opportunities to improve campaign outcomes, website conversions, and digital performance across multiple channels. You'll work closely with colleagues and external suppliers to ensure our digital activity is effective, measurable, and aligned with organisational priorities.

We're looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in paid digital advertising, including Google Ads and Meta, as well as expertise in website content management, analytics, SEO, campaign tracking, reporting, and audience development. You'll be comfortable turning data into actionable insights, managing competing priorities, and helping drive continuous improvement across our digital channels.

This role would suit a digital marketing professional who enjoys both strategy and execution, has a keen eye for performance optimisation, and is excited by the opportunity to promote one of New Zealand's most unique destinations. Experience with Google Analytics, CRM platforms, AI tools, campaign reporting, and website optimisation will be highly regarded.
