Job summary

PwC New Zealand is seeking an Associate Director in Digital & Data Transformation. Lead strategy and architecture engagements, shape client roadmaps and build scalable transformation programs across government, utilities and banks.

You will guide teams, manage stakeholder expectations and grow client relationships to deliver measurable business value. You will leverage cloud and data architecture expertise and senior-level communication to influence outcomes and drive growth across PwC’s NZ

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience across technology strategy and architecture, including defining strategic intent, roadmaps and prioritising tech choices.
• Strong consulting experience, ideally within a Big Four or similar, with government/public sector exposure.
• Experience developing business cases and using capability modelling to support decisions.
• Practical capability across enterprise and solution architecture, including cloud and data architecture.
• Experience leading strategy, architecture or technology transformation engagements from definition to delivery.
• Hands-on cloud experience or cloud certifications with one or more Cloud Service Providers.

• Develop strategic intent, technology strategies and transformation roadmaps aligned with client priorities.
• Build business cases that connect technology investment with measurable business value.
• Lead business capability modelling to define future-state requirements.
• Design enterprise, solution, cloud and data architecture approaches.
• Deliver strategy and architecture engagements and ensure quality across delivery.
• Coach multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong client relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposals, client conversations and new engagements.
