Job summary

Auckland Council—central Auckland—seeks a Digital Business Analyst to join our Digital team and help deliver customer-focused solutions that improve how Aucklanders access council services. You will lead discovery and analysis of business and customer needs, translating requirements into practical digital solutions.

You’ll work with stakeholders, developers and delivery teams to ensure solutions are designed, tested and delivered effectively, while contributing to business cases and project

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' business analysis experience in a digital environment
• Demonstrated experience leading digital projects through to delivery
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills
• Experience with customer-facing digital platforms, websites or online services
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• Understanding of customer journeys, user experience and functional testing

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and analysis of business and customer needs and translate requirements into practical digital solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, designers and delivery teams to design, test and deliver solutions
• Contribute to business cases, project estimates and functional testing
• Identify opportunities for improvement through customer feedback and data analysis
