Job summary

Endura Mining invites an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our new operation in New Zealand. You will perform scheduled maintenance, repairs and installations across fixed plant and associated infrastructure, ensuring reliability and safety.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll work in a small multi-skilled team, read drawings, follow procedures and prioritize a practical, hands-on approach to keep the site running as we scale up.

Qualifications

• A recognised mechanical trade qualification (fitting / mechanical).
• Experience in fixed plant maintenance, ideally in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and work safely from procedures and permits.
• A practical, self-managing approach and the ability to prioritise your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled (preventive) and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant and ancillary equipment.
• Conduct PM-generated inspections to a high standard and close out paperwork with informative history notes.
• Performance-test equipment before returning it to service to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Carry out repairs and installations in consultation with OEMs where required.
