Job summary

Endura Mining in New Zealand is seeking a qualified Fitter/Welder to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs and installations across our processing plant and infrastructure. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will help keep fixed plant running reliably and safely while working in a small, multi-skilled team.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical trade qualification is required.
• Experience maintaining fixed plant in mining or heavy industry preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and work from procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled (preventive) and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant and ancillary equipment across the processing plant.
• Fabricate and install components from drawings to a high standard.
• Identify hazards and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete paperwork accurately and assist other trades as required.
