Job summary

Westpac New Zealand seeks a Desktop Automation Engineer to enhance workplace technology services, improve employee experience, and enable secure, efficient work practices across the organization.

You will blend hands-on desktop engineering with end-user support, leveraging Microsoft 365, AI enablement, automation, analytics, and knowledge management to drive smarter workflows and self-service options.

Qualifications

• Hands-on desktop engineer experience and end-user support.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and modern workplace services.
• Experience with AI tools, automation, scripting, or workflow design.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support enterprise desktop services, endpoint tools, and workplace technology platforms.
• Design, configure, and improve Copilot agents, prompts, workflows, and AI-assisted support experiences.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reporting.
• Develop knowledge articles, runbooks, and self-service support content.
• Support ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, knowledge management, and workflow improvements.
