Job summary

The Treasury Te Tai Ōhanga is seeking a Desktop Analyst to join the Enabling Services team on a permanent basis. You will deliver remote and desk-side support to end users, backing up the Service Desk and managing desktops, mobile devices, and telephony systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT support, strong knowledge of Windows, AD, SCCM, wireless LAN, and AV/IP conferencing. The role includes an on-call component and opportunities to contribute to security, documentation, and change

Qualifications

A tertiary IT qualification or equivalent experience.
3+ years’ IT support experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and back-end applications.
Proficiency in Active Directory, SCCM, wireless networks, and LAN/WAN.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
Excellent communication and organisational skills; ability to work effectively in a team. ITIL certification desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver remote and desk-side end-user support and troubleshooting.
Provide backup support for the Service Desk to ensure seamless customer experience.
Manage desktop, mobile devices, and telephony system setup and maintenance.
Act as escalation point for complex incidents and service requests per SLAs.
Contribute to system security, documentation, and project/change management initiatives.
