Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is seeking an Operations Engineer to join the Manufacturing Location Project Team in Auckland, NZ. You will drive design transfer activities, establish manufacturing capability, and support projects that release processes and products to production.

You will collaborate with Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to transfer efficiently with a focus on quality, safety, delivery and cost improvements across complex programmes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting Design Transfer or New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
• Experience creating or implementing manufacturing processes.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capability.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence.

Responsabilidades

• Creating and implementing manufacturing assembly processes.
• Coordinating cross-functional project activities to ensure successful delivery of transfer milestones.
• Developing manufacturing documentation, work instructions and process specifications.
• Conducting process risk assessments, validation activities and manufacturing readiness reviews.
• Supporting the introduction of new products, equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Analysing production and quality data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives targeting safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders across functions and at all levels.
