Job summary

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare is seeking a biomedical/mechanical engineer to contribute across the next generation of NIV products. You will engage in concept generation, design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing support within a collaborative team in New Zealand.

You will bring a degree in biomedical/mechanical/mechatronics engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills to navigate design controls and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of engineering experience.
• Experience across product development lifecycle is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute across multiple product development activities.
• Understand patient and clinician needs; generate and evaluate concepts.
• Design parts and packaging; support testing and manufacturing delivery.
