We are looking for a classroom teacher to join us in 2027. We are looking for someone who is excited to help our students reach their full potential. If that sounds like you, we’d love to have you join our team!
At our intermediate school, collaboration and growth are at the heart of what we do. Teachers get over 30 hours of release time each term, and syndicate teams meet together to plan, collaborate, and focus on professional development - which cuts down on after-school hui!
Your role will include crafting engaging lessons for Year 7 and 8 students that bring the whole curriculum to life. You'll integrate Te Ao Māori and sustainability to create meaningful learning experiences, foster a positive classroom where critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork flourish, and build strong connections with students, parents, and whānau. You'll also help shape and improve our strongly localised curriculum.
We’re looking for someone with a New Zealand teaching qualification and experience or a genuine interest in working with intermediate-aged students.
In return, you'll find a supportive and collaborative workplace where your contributions make a real difference. We offer meaningful professional development tailored to your growth, along with a well-resourced school environment that supports your creativity.
We want someone energetic and enthusiastic who thrives in a dynamic setting and is ready to engage fully in school life. Building strong, positive relationships with young adolescents is crucial. If you enjoy integrated, localised learning and value being part of a team, you'll fit right in.
