Job summary

Brandon Intermediate in Wellington seeks a passionate Technology Specialist to inspire students through creativity and practical hands-on skills. You will plan and deliver technology programmes aligned with the updated Technology NZ Curriculum, teaching Year 7 and 8 weekly across school and partner sites.

The ideal candidate will have deep NZ curriculum knowledge, strong health and safety awareness, and a commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive teaching.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students through creativity, design thinking, and practical hands-on skills. You will plan and deliver high-quality technology programmes aligned with the updated Technology New Zealand Curriculum.

The role involves delivering weekly technology lessons to Year 7 and 8 students from our school and local client schools. You will be teaching in our fantastic, well-resourced Technology department.

• have an excellent understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum, particularly the Technology learning area and design processes
• possess a sound, rigorous knowledge of technology Health and Safety
