Future School in Takapuna is seeking a Deputy Principal to work with the principal across the school, leading staff, guiding curriculum quality, student wellbeing and behaviour, and daily operations.

You will shape how this young, innovative school grows, bring proven senior leadership, warm leadership, strong communication, and a belief in student agency and future-focused learning.

Future School is a school reinvented for what's next. We're a small, ambitious Years 1–13 school in Takapuna offering full-time face-to-face, hybrid and online schooling models, built around a personalised model of education with each student's unique strengths at its heart.

Part of the Crimson Academies network, we work in close partnership with other Crimson Academies schools, opening up unique opportunities for our learning community and teaching team. We're now looking for a deputy principal to help lead us into our next chapter.

As second-in-charge, you'll work alongside the principal across the whole school — staff leadership and coaching, curriculum quality, student wellbeing and behaviour, and day-to-day operations. You'll play a genuine role in shaping how this young school grows.

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds current NZ teacher registration and has proven senior leadership experience
• Is positive, a strong communicator, and brings a good sense of humour
• Leads with warmth, clarity and high expectations
• Is energised, not unsettled, by building new systems in a young school
