Job summary

Auckland Grammar School invites applications for a Deputy Headmaster to join our leadership team from the start of Term 1 2027. The role involves leading academic pathways, curriculum oversight, and strategic governance within a dual-qualification framework (Cambridge and NCEA). Applicants must hold NZ teaching qualifications and a current Practising Certificate.

Remuneration will be in line with the New Zealand Secondary Teachers Collective, 2025-2027. Mountain Road, Epsom, Auckland.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification as prescribed by NZQA.
• Current Practising Certificate issued by the NZ Teachers Council.
• Experience in educational leadership and curriculum development is desirable.
• Familiarity with Cambridge and NCEA pathways is preferable.

We are seeking a passionate educational leader to join our leadership team. Auckland Grammar School seeks to appoint a deputy headmaster from the start of Term 1 2027.

The school operates a dual-qualification pathway, so knowledge of the Cambridge and NCEA pathways is preferable.
