Aotearoa Infinite Academy, New Zealand's first online charter school, is expanding its senior leadership team to include a Deputy Principal – High Standards Teaching. This full-time, permanent role leads coaching cycles, embeds our theory of learning, and oversees professional growth and PLD for staff in an online setting.

The role focuses on supporting beginning teachers, managing induction and mentoring, and coordinating certification endorsements and practicum liaison within a national online

Responsibilities

• Coaching. Run coaching cycles, live-session observations and walkthroughs of online learning.
• Theory of learning. Embed our school's theory of learning and assessment for learning practice schoolwide.
• Professional growth. Oversee the professional growth cycle and teaching as inquiry.
• Beginning teachers. Lead PCT induction, the mentor programme and release time.
• Staff PLD. Own the PLD plan, the staff meeting PLD calendar and teacher-only days.
• Certification. Manage Teaching Council certification endorsements and practicum liaison.
• PLD. Manage PLD plan, delivery and any external bookings Operations Manager.
