Supporting the Deputy Headmaster Academics, this position offers aspiring leaders the opportunity to work as part of the Leadership team.

As an integral member of our wider leadership team, you will work closely with the Deputy Headmaster to lead the delivery and management of curriculum and assessment. The Assistant Headmaster will have responsibilities that include undertaking the role of Principal's Nominee, overseeing the NCEA Scholarship Programme, leading the SCT, supervising teacher trainees, managing professional development, leading the Professional Growth Cycle and supporting the leadership of Heads of Department alongside the Deputy Headmaster Academics. The role includes a teaching component.
