St Kevin's College invites applications from enthusiastic, relational and forward-thinking educational leaders for the position of deputy principal, commencing on 28 January 2027.

As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in upholding our Special Character, promoting academic excellence, supporting pastoral wellbeing and driving innovative curriculum delivery across the college.

  • Relational Leadership: Proven ability to build positive, trust-based relationships with students, staff, whānau, and the wider community.
  • Restorative Practice: Demonstrated experience working effectively within restorative practice schools to foster a supportive and inclusive culture.
  • Curriculum Innovation: A passion for innovative curriculum design that engages and empowers all learners.
  • Primary Partnership: A strong willingness and enthusiasm to collaborate with primary school colleagues and local educational networks.
  • Work Ethic and Professional Integrity: A strong work ethic, high professional standards, resilience, and a warm sense of humor.
  • Timetabling: Expertise in master timetabling and complex curriculum scheduling.
  • Cambridge Curriculum: Experience teaching or leading the Cambridge Assessment International Education curriculum up to AS Level is an advantage.
