Job summary

Lumino Mt Eden is seeking an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to support patients throughout their treatment journey, working closely with dentists and the practice team.

You will discuss treatment options, costs, and finance solutions; coordinate consultations and appointments; and help maintain accurate patient records while delivering an outstanding patient experience. This part-time role focuses on providing patient-centric care in a busy practice setting.

Qualifications

• Dental industry experience is required.
• Experience as a Treatment Coordinator, Dental Receptionist, Dental Assistant, or similar dental role is preferred.
• Demonstrates confidence, professionalism and maturity when interacting with patients and colleagues.
• Highly customer-focused with a passion for delivering outstanding patient experiences.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills; comfortable discussing treatment options, costs and payment plans.
• Goal-oriented, proactive and able to follow through to achieve results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Works well within a team and builds positive relationships with clinicians and staff.
• Reliable, motivated and takes pride in high-quality work.
• Holds valid New Zealand work rights.
• Lives within reasonable commuting distance of Mt Eden.

Responsibilities

• Discussing treatment plans and options with patients clearly and professionally.
• Following up on proposed treatment plans and assisting patients to proceed with treatment.
• Building strong relationships with patients and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
• Coordinating treatment consultations and appointments.
• Discussing treatment costs, payment options and finance solutions where applicable.
• Collaborating with dentists and the wider practice team.
• Conducting follow-up communications to keep patients engaged during treatment.
• Supporting treatment acceptance and contributing to practice growth.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a seamless treatment coordination process.
