Job summary

Matheson Dental in Glen Eden seeks a proactive Practice Manager to lead reception and day‑to‑day operational duties. You will ensure a seamless patient journey, manage bookings, and support growth initiatives within a friendly, expanding dental group.

You will work with the Group Practice Manager and management team, mentoring staff and driving performance. Prior dental reception and admin experience is essential, with leadership guidance provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous dental reception and administration experience is essential.
• Leadership experience is preferred, although training, mentoring, and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead the reception and administration functions of the practice.
• Manage patient enquiries and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain productive appointment books and maximise clinician utilisation.
• Support recalls and reactivations of inactive patients.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of team members.
• Coordinate staff rosters and leave requests.
