Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport is seeking an experienced chef to join our 5‑star kitchen. You will prepare high‑standard à la carte, buffet, and pastry items and oversee cleanliness and organization when needed.

With at least 3 years in a 4–5‑star hotel or fine dining, you’ll bring pastry, cake and sourdough expertise, flexibility across shifts, and a passion for creative menu development while collaborating with peers to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in 4–5‑star hotels or high-end restaurants.
• Qualified in culinary arts with strong technical skills.
• Creative and passionate about food with ability to work graveyard shifts.
• Able to follow mise en place and food preparation instructions.
• Flexible across mornings and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present food for a la carte, buffet, and pastry services to high standards.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the kitchen.
• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of Executive Chef and Sous Chefs.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experience.
• Stay updated with latest food trends and contribute to menu development.
