Job summary

Hato Hone St John in New Zealand seeks a strategic digital delivery leader to oversee the customer platform supporting Telecare, Training, Fundraising, Products & Services, and Ambulance Membership. You will lead a multi-disciplinary delivery team and take end-to-end ownership of platform delivery.

In this hands-on role you’ll manage priorities and releases, collaborate with executives and stakeholders, and ensure secure, high-quality delivery while driving continuous improvement and capability

Join us in a key leadership role where you'll oversee the delivery of Hato Hone St John's customer platform, which supports a range of services including Telecare, Training, Fundraising, Products & Services, and Ambulance Membership. Leading a multi-disciplinary digital delivery team, you'll take end-to-end ownership of platform delivery, providing clear direction, accountability, and decision-making while managing priorities, releases, and day-to-day delivery activities in a hands-on environment.

• Lead and develop a high-performing digital delivery team, fostering accountability, capability growth, and continuous improvement.
• Own and manage a single delivery pipeline, ensuring work is prioritised, planned, and delivered effectively across multiple streams.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to align delivery priorities with business goals and provide clear advice on impacts, risks, and timelines.
• Oversee platform releases, change management, and governance, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-quality delivery outcomes.
• Provide clear visibility of delivery performance, capacity, risks, and benefits while balancing demand, resources, and competing priorities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Business, or a related field, with Salesforce and project management certifications highly regarded.
• Experience leading enterprise platform or digital delivery initiatives.
• Proven people leadership experience across technical or multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce, requirements gathering, and delivery lifecycles.
• Experience managing competing priorities, multiple delivery streams, and stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage executives, stakeholders, and external partners.
