Job summary

Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) is seeking a hands-on delivery professional to support our AB Base operations during peak season. Based at the Hamilton Depot, you will manage timely delivery of Artificial Breeding products across the Waikato region in LIC branded vehicles.

You’ll work a 7-day roster with variable hours from September to December, requiring good time management, physical fitness, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or delivery operations is preferred.
• Full, clean NZ driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Organise and deliver time-critical Artificial Breeding products during peak season.
• Operate LIC branded vehicles and perform deliveries around the Waikato region from the Hamilton Depot.
• Rostered 7-day week schedule with variable hours; adapt to seasonal demand.

Your Role

This role is part of the Operations & Service Team who are responsible for delivering on the promise we make to our customers on farm.

You will support our Artificial Breeding (AB) Base Supervisor during the upcoming peak season by organising and delivering time critical Artificial Breeding products, in full, on time, every time.

• The role is based at our Hamilton Depot and you’ll be making deliveries in our LIC branded vehicles, around the Waikato region.
• This is a 7 day a week operation with rostered days and variable hours.
• The role supports during our peak season, which runs from September to December.

About You

With a can-do attitude, you will be a self-starter with exceptional time management and communication skills. Previous experience in logistics, liquid nitrogen and transferring of frozen straws would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.

• Have a full, clean NZ driver’s license with an excellent driving record and be comfortable driving at night.
