Job summary

Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) seeks a dependable delivery driver to support the Artificial Breeding base team. The role involves timely, full deliveries of AB products from the Hamilton Depot across the Waikato region.

You will operate LIC-branded vehicles, work a 7-day roster during peak season (Sept–Dec), and ensure safety and accuracy in all loading and unloading tasks. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, strong time management, a clean NZ driver’s license, and comfort

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver Artificial Breeding (AB) products on time and in full.
• Operate LIC branded vehicles at the Hamilton Depot and throughout Waikato.
• Rostered 7-day operation with variable hours during peak season (Sept–Dec).
• Assist with loading, unloading and on-site customer interactions.
• Maintain safety, accuracy and documentation during deliveries.

Your Role:

This role is part of the Operations & Service Team who are responsible for delivering on the promise we make to our customers on farm.

You will support our Artificial Breeding (AB) Base Supervisor during the upcoming peak season by organising and delivering time critical Artificial Breeding products, in full, on time, every time.

• The role is based atour Hamilton Depotand you’ll be making deliveries in our LIC branded vehicles,around the Waikato region.

• This is a 7 day a week operation with rostered days and variable hours.

• The role supports during our peak season, which runs from September to December.

About You:

With a can-do attitude, you will be a self-starter with exceptional time management and communication skills. Previous experience in logistics, liquid nitrogen and transferring of frozen straws would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Good initiative and common sense, as you’ll will be working autonomously.

• Be physically fit and able to comfortably lift 20kgs, to keep up with the demands of the role.

• Have a full, clean NZ driver’s license with an excellent driving record and be comfortable driving at night.

• Be a great team player with a positive attitude.

• Have a positive attitude towardsHealth & Safety practices.
