Job summary

Bidfood Christchurch is seeking a Class 2 Delivery Driver / Store Person for the Islington-based Distribution Centre. This full-time, permanent role requires early starts between 4am and 6am and provides opportunities to support warehouse operations while delivering foodservice products across Canterbury.

You will primarily be a Delivery Driver, with occasional Store Person duties, and must be eligible to work in NZ. Drug tests and background checks are required as part of the selection process.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2 licence required.
• Physically fit to lift up to 25kg.
• Experience in warehousing, logistics or food distribution.
• Reliable with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver goods to customer sites across Canterbury.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and with care.
• Assist warehouse operations when needed.

Our Distribution Centre locate in Islington, Christchurch is on the lookout for experienced Class 2 Drivers who are keen to get stuck in, stay active, and be part of a fast-paced, hardworking team.

The focus of the role is to be a Delivery Driver and occasionally help as a Store Person, offering variety in your day. You will start early (anywhere between 4am and 6am) and play a key part in getting our food products delivered accurately, safely, and on time.

• Load and deliver goods to customer sites across Canterbury
• Ensure every delivery is completed in full, on time, and with care
• Keep your vehicle road-ready and clean
• Support warehouse operations (loading trucks, general dispatch) when needed

About You

• Full Class 2 licence with proven driving experience
• Physically fit – able to lift up to 25kg regularly
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or food distribution
• Great time management and reliability
• Able to work Monday to Saturday, with early morning starts
