Job summary

Bidfood Auckland South is seeking experienced Class 2 Drivers who thrive on active, physical work and reliable delivery to customers. You will start early, handle loading and unloading, and visit rest homes, hospitals, and cafés, building strong customer relationships along the way.

Expect a full-time roster with 5 shifts per week and an additional 6th shift every two weeks. A competitive pay rate, staff buying privileges, and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, with a positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
• Full Class 2 driving licence and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug test and background checks.
• Good knowledge of the Auckland area.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move goods in and out of the truck.
• Deliver to customers including rest homes, hospitals, and cafes.
• Represent the brand with reliability and professionalism.
• Build relationships with customers and help keep their operations running smoothly.
• Keep accurate delivery records and comply with safety requirements.

Due to continued growth, we’re on the lookout for experienced Class 2 Drivers who take pride in reliability, enjoy physical work, and love getting out on the road and in front of customers.

This is not your standard driving job.
You’ll be in and out of the truck all day — loading, unloading, lifting, and delivering directly to customers at rest homes, hospitals, prisons, cafés, and more. You’ll build relationships, represent our brand, and play a key part in keeping our customers running smoothly.

If you enjoy staying active, working independently, and interacting with a wide range of people, this is the role for you.

We have full-time positions available at our Mangere site:

• 5 x 8-hour shifts per week
• Plus a rostered 6th shift every 2 weeks
• Early start at 5:00am

What we’re looking for:

• A positive, can-do attitude and great communication skills
• High level of physical fitness — comfortable with regular lifting and movement
• Proven reliability and strong work ethic
• A genuine customer service focus
• Full Class 2 licence
• Good knowledge of the Auckland area
• Ability to pass a drug test and criminal conviction check, with positive references
