Job summary

New Zealand Post Group is seeking an On-Call Delivery Agent in Tauranga to deliver mail and parcels. You will work with a small team, sorting mail at our Tauraunga Depot and completing routes on foot or via Paxter and/or E-Bike, rain or shine.

Ideal applicants are available on call, have reliable transport, hold a NZ restricted license, stay fit, and enjoy helping customers with accuracy and care. Join NZ Post to support local communities.

Qualifications

• Availability to work On call - as and when required.
• Reliable transport to get to work on time.
• Clean Restricted NZ Drivers License.
• Physically fit and comfortable riding an E-Bike if needed.
• Have a high level of numeracy and literacy – so you can get all that addressing information sorted!
• Ensure your own and the health and safety of your colleagues.
• Going the extra mile to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• And above all, a passion for doing a great job and getting it right,each and every time!

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels to customers.
• Sort mail at the Tauraunga Depot.
• Deliver on a route using Paxter and/or an E-Bike; rain, hail or shine.
• Support health and safety and customer satisfaction on every shift.

As the face of NZ Post out in the community, you'll connect with our customers as you deliver their mail and parcels. Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll process and sort mail from our Tauraunga Depot, before going it alone out on your delivery route, using a Paxter and/ or E-Bike; rain, hail or shine!

Delivery Agents are a hardy bunch, all united by one mission -to deliver for New Zealand.
