Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience.

Kaan's Catering Supplies is one of the South Island's leading foodservice distributors, supplying more than 4,500 products including fresh produce, seafood, meat, and a wide range of Asian food products to customers throughout the region.

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join our busy Dunedin team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced warehouse environment where you’ll play a key part in ensuring products are received, stored, processed, and dispatched efficiently.

Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll help keep our operation running smoothly while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and customer service.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday- 5:00am to 3:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, storing, and dispatching stock
• Stock rotation and inventory management
• Unloading shipping containers
• Preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
• Working in freezer and chiller environments
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Inspecting, sorting, stacking, and palletising crates
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Complying with food safety, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
• Providing excellent service to customers, suppliers, and colleagues
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

• A current Forklift Licence and F Endorsement would be advantageous, but not essential.
