Service Foods in Wellington is seeking a Team Leader– National Contracts to oversee our day-to-day warehouse operations, lead a committed team, and ensure quality, safety and delivery standards for national customers.

This hands-on role focuses on coordinating people and processes, improving efficiency, and providing training while maintaining a safe, compliant, temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a team in a warehouse/logistics setting
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Hands-on approach and ability to maintain performance standards in a fast-paced environment
• Physical fitness for lifting/moving freight and floor-based work
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to H&S practices
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of basic food ingredients

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing day-to-day warehouse operations

• Pick, pack, check, and wrap national customer orders
• Provide relief driving support when needed (Class 2 preferred)
• Support Inwards Goods, receipting, credits, and stock corrections
• Provide operational cover for the Team Supervisor during leave
• Maintain the highest standards of quality and food safety
• Foster a collaborative and positive team culture
• Support roster planning and task allocation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Conduct training to upskill team members

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll help lead a committed team, maintain operational excellence, and contribute directly to our service delivery standards.

The Opportunity

Position snapshot

• Immediate start
• Roster: Monday to Friday + rotational Saturdays
• Hours: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Location: William Durant Drive, Upper Hutt

Key Responsibilities

About You
