Job summary

Opal, part of the Nippon Paper Group, is seeking a day shift Production Team Member for our corrugated packaging operation in Hornby, Christchurch. You will support the corrugator and printing departments, contributing to high-quality products delivered on time and within specification.

Qualifications

• An excellent understanding of, and commitment to HSE requirements.
• Reliable and willingness to learn and develop.
• A self-motivated, keen and energetic personality.
• Excellent attention to detail for quality purposes.
• Able to competently use a computer.
• Full clean driver license preferable as F Endorsement may be required for certain roles.
• Experience in manufacturing production, ideally from within the packaging industry is preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation and running of the corrugator and printing departments.
