Job summary

Horizons Regional Council is seeking a Data Entry and Project Support Administrator in Palmerston North to join the Information Services team. This 24-month fixed-term, full-time role supports the IRIS NextGen programme, focusing on data preparation, testing support, training resources, and project administration.

You will coordinate with project teams and business users to ensure data accuracy, develop training materials, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, project support, data entry or data management.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work both independently and within a project team.
• Customer-focused approach and willingness to support others.

Responsibilities

• Support the IRIS NextGen implementation and related data preparation.
• Assist testing activities and coordinate data validation efforts.
• Develop training resources and user guides for project teams.
• Provide administrative support to project teams and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with business users and subject matter experts to ensure information quality.
