Job summary

NZTA is seeking a Platform Lead - Data to drive the strategy, architecture, delivery and operations of the organisation's enterprise data and analytics platforms. You will guide investment choices and lead evolution of modern data capabilities used across the organisation.

You will lead platform squads, promote Agile and DevOps practices, and partner with Digital, business and delivery teams to unlock high-value data products, analytics and AI use cases across NZTA.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading enterprise data platform strategy, architecture and operations.
• Proven ability to guide data engineering, analytics enablement and self-service reporting.
• Strong governance, security and cost management practices in large-scale data environments.

Responsibilities

• Set the roadmap for NZTA's enterprise data platform and ensure scalability, security, and resilience.
• Lead cross-functional squads and promote Agile, DevOps, and automation-first ways of working.
• Collaborate with Digital, business and delivery teams to unlock high-value data products, analytics and AI use cases across NZTA.
