Job summary

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities is seeking an experienced Manager - Data Engineering to lead the delivery, operation, and evolution of our enterprise data engineering capability. You will ensure data platforms, pipelines and analytics environments are reliable, secure, and scalable to deliver timely insights across the organisation.

Based in Auckland or Wellington, this permanent role offers five weeks of annual leave and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires strong leadership of data engineering teams in large enterprises.
• Experience delivering enterprise data platforms with reliable, secure data pipelines.
• Knowledge of modern data platforms, cloud-based data services, and data governance.

• Oversee enterprise data platforms, stability, performance and continuous improvement.
