Upper Echelon NZ is seeking talented Data Engineers across New Zealand who are passionate about building scalable data solutions and turning complex data into meaningful business insights.

The opportunity involves designing and developing data pipelines, modern data platforms, improving data quality, and supporting data warehousing and analytics initiatives. Strong SQL, Python, and cloud experience are valued, along with familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, and data modelling.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and maintaining data pipelines and data solutions.
• Strong SQL and Python or other programming languages.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with modern data platforms and tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt or similar technologies.
• An understanding of data modelling, data integration and data quality.
• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
