You will investigate software capabilities, assess data and compliance risks, and summarise findings for the AUT community. This fixed term, part-time role is based at AUT's City Campus.

Qualifications

• A sound understanding of legal principles, relevant legislation, standards and organisational policies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret software licence agreements and terms of service.
• A structured, detail-focused approach to assessing risk and documenting findings.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills, including confidence liaising with colleagues to clarify requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review software and service agreements, identify relevant terms, and assess data and compliance risks against agreed criteria.
• Summarise assessment findings, recommend remediation actions, and maintain accurate assessment records and registers.
• Coordinate review requests and liaise with ICT colleagues and requesters to clarify requirements and support compliance work.
• Investigate and assess the risk and compliance exposure of data-related activities at AUT.
