Job summary

Vitaco, a NZ-based health nutrition company, is seeking a Machine Operator for the Dairy Powder Plant in East Tamaki. You will operate and monitor powder processing and packaging equipment in a structured, hygiene-focused environment, ensuring safety and quality standards.

We value reliability and a can-do attitude; experience in dairy or powder manufacturing is preferred but not essential, with on-the-job training provided and opportunities to progress within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in powder/dairy manufacturing preferred.
• Strong GMP, hygiene and safety awareness.
• Ability to follow set processes and SOPs.
• Physically fit to lift 25kg and work rosters.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor powder processing or packing machinery.
• Complete quality checks and record production data accurately.
• Handle raw materials and finished powders per GMP and hygiene standards.
• Follow SOPs and safety requirements at all times.
• Maintain housekeeping to prevent contamination risks.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production targets.
