Job summary

PAK’nSAVE Rolleston is seeking an experienced Dairy/Frozen/Liquor Assistant Manager to lead the department under the Department Manager. This hands-on role focuses on delivering high standards, stocking, presentation and customer service in a busy supermarket environment.

Applicants should have prior supermarket leadership experience, with the ability to coach a team, manage stock, and maintain safety and quality across dairy, frozen and liquor sections. Weekend shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Support Department Manager with day-to-day running of Dairy, Frozen and Liquor.
• Lead, motivate and coach the team to meet daily targets.
• Ensure shelves are well stocked, faced up and presented to a high standard.
• Monitor stock levels and availability for customers.
• Maintain stock rotation and high product quality.
• Plan workloads and delegate tasks efficiently.
• Uphold cleanliness, food safety and health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to needs.
