Job summary

CorysElectrical in Hawera, New Zealand, is seeking a Customer Service and Sales person to support branch operations. You will help customers at the counter, unpack and receipting incoming goods, and pick/pack and dispatch orders.

You may load the delivery vehicle and occasionally undertake deliveries to ensure customers receive their orders on time. A passion for people and strong communication are essential; you’ll work as part of a team and help customers find the right products.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to different customers.

What does the Customer Service andSales person do?

This multifaceted counter-basedrole supports branch operations, from assisting customers at the counter andunpacking and receipting incoming goods, to picking, packing and dispatchingcustomer orders, loading the delivery vehicle, and occasionally undertakingdeliveries. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our customers receivetheir orders on time while consistently providing a high level of qualityservice.

They participate in everythingfrom inwards/outwards goods and stocktakes, to helping customers find theproducts they need and processing sales. How? By welcoming them to the branch,listening to their needs, and providing them with sound advice every time.

This role can be physically demanding, so a decent level ofphysical fitness is required. You will also need your full driver license. Having your F-endorsement is beneficial butnot required as we can get you trained in this area!
