Job summary

Hutt City Council in Lower Hutt is seeking enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives to join our busy Contact Centre on a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2027. You’ll handle inquiries across phone, email and face-to-face channels from a diverse community, within a supportive team, with hybrid working options and wellbeing perks.

We value people who care about delivering a great customer experience and who can adapt to varying requests in a busy council environment.

About This Role

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and inspiring Customer Service Representatives (full-time (40 hours p/w)) to join our small and vibrant Contact Centre on a fixed term contract - until end of June 2027.

Our contact centre is open Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, and works out of our lovely building in Laings Road, Lower Hutt, close to cafes and Queensgate.

You'll be on the front line and often the first point of contact for our customers via various channels including phone, email and face to face.

No two days are the same, you'll receive a real variety of requests, questions and feedback from a diverse range of people.
