Job summary

Hirepool in Wellington is seeking a Customer/Service Person to join our team. You will help ensure equipment is fit for hire, advise customers over the phone and in-branch, and support their projects with the right tools and machinery.

No prior industry experience is needed; training and development will be provided. A positive, can-do attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Full Class 1 Driver's Licence required; other classes/endorsements are an advantage.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Able to work on a rostered basis (branch open Monday to Saturday).
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Reliable and committed to delivering quality work and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone queries and raise customer contracts.
• Provide advice on which tools and machinery are required for different jobs.
• Service a wide variety of hire plant.
• Work safely for you and for our customers.

We have a Permanent Full Time opportunity for a Customer/Service Person to join our team in Wellington. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with tools and machinery, will provide great service to our customers, and have a keen interest in developing their existing skills and experience into a career.

As a Customer/Service Person your role will be to help ensure our equipment is fit for hire (a really important part of what we do!) and provide advice and support to customers over the phone and in-branch on what equipment is right for their project. As a market leader in the hire industry, we'll support your training and development on the job so prior industry experience is not a requirement. All we ask is that you have a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player who's happy to pitch in wherever required.
