Job summary

Franklin Vets is a well-established veterinary practice serving farming, lifestyle, equine and companion animal clients. We are seeking a friendly Customer Service professional to join our Pukekohe team full-time.

You will assist clients with products, services and support, coordinate vet schedules, manage stock and assist with retail enquiries. The role requires a warm, organized approach and the ability to work as part of a busy team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, ideally in rural or farming context.
• Understanding of farming clients and environment preferred.
• Willingness to work weekdays and some Saturdays.
• Warm, approachable and organised with good multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service in person and over the phone.
• Coordinate vet schedules, appointments and client requests.
• Assist clients with retail sales and product enquiries.
• Manage stock, orders, levels and restocking.
• Receive and unpack orders; operate forklift as required.
• Support the clinic team to keep operations running smoothly.

Franklin Vets is a well-established veterinary practice supporting farming, lifestyle, equine and companion animal clients across South Auckland, North Waikato, the Coromandel and Hauraki Plains.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and capable Customer Service professional to join our Pukekohe team on a full-time basis. This is a varied, hands‑on role where you’ll be helping our clients get the products, services and support they need.

You’ll be part of a busy and supportive team of veterinarians, vet technicians and customer service professionals, all working together to provide a great experience for our clients and a high standard of care for their animals.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service both in person and over the phone
• Coordinating vet schedules, appointments and client requests
• Assisting clients with retail sales and product enquiries
• Managing stock, including ordering, monitoring stock levels and restocking
• Receiving and unpacking orders and using a forklift as required
• Supporting the wider clinic team to keep things running smoothly

What we’re looking for

Ideally, you’ll bring a background in farming or the rural sector, giving you a good understanding of our farming clients and the environment they work in. Knowledge of large animal products would be valuable, and equine knowledge or experience would be an advantage.

Just as importantly, you’ll be warm and approachable, organised and confident dealing with a wide range of people. You’ll be able to prioritise competing demands, stay calm when things get busy and enjoy being part of a team.

You’ll need to be available to work weekdays as well as some Saturdays.
