Dart River Adventures, part of Ngāi Tahu Tourism, is seeking a Customer Experience Representative to join our Glenorchy team for the season.

Deliver outstanding service, manage bookings, inquiries and reservations, and support daily operations while representing the heart of Te Waipounamu’s iconic experience with manaakitanga.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of customer service experience.
• Experience with administration tasks is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

About the role

As our Customer Experience Representative, you'll play a key role in ensuring every manuhiri (visitor) receives outstanding service from the moment they connect with us.

You'll be responsible for:

• Delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality to every visitor
• Managing bookings, phone enquiries, emails, and reservation systems
• Supporting daily administration and operational activities
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
• Maintaining high presentation standards across customer-facing areas
• Promoting sustainability initiatives and encouraging visitors to follow the Tiaki Promise
• Contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team culture

What we're looking for

• At least 12 months' customer service experience
• Previous administration experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Confidence using computer systems and managing customer enquiries
• A positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to support the wider team
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences

Bonus skills (not essential)

• Previous experience in the tourism industry
• Knowledge of booking or reservation systems
• A passion for sharing the unique stories and landscapes of the region with visitors
