Job summary

Woolworths New Zealand is seeking a dedicated leader to champion customer experience across our stores. You’ll look after the checkouts and cash office, monitor service areas, and coach a team to consistently meet the highest standards while following company policies.

This role offers a collaborative, energetic culture with space for new ideas, regular weekend shifts (four per month) and at least one evening per week.

Responsibilities

• Look after the checkouts and cash office.
• Monitor all customer service areas ensuring high standards and policy compliance.
• Create positive interactions with customers and resolve questions.
• Lead and supervise the team, train and coach, and act as store manager on shifts.
• Identify and escalate process-related issues to the Function Lead for effective resolution.
• Champion safety and wellbeing by following protocols and reporting hazards.
• Collaborate and communicate to foster a positive team environment.
