Job summary

Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand is seeking customer‑focused team members to help on the shop floor, deliver personalised service and support daily store operations. You’ll engage customers, resolve inquiries and contribute to a welcoming shopping experience across our Wellington stores.

You’ll help maintain store presentation, manage deliveries, uphold safety standards and work with the team to achieve store objectives.

• Experience delivering excellent customer service and support on the shop floor.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Demonstrates integrity and professional conduct in all tasks.
• Pays attention to detail and maintains accuracy in daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Champion Customer Service: Be highly visible on the shop floor, engaging customers with personalised assistance and promptly resolving inquiries and complaints.
• Ensure Store Accuracy: Maintain precise inventory control, including verifying stock and conducting stocktakes, and meticulously perform all price integrity routines.
• Process Deliveries & Maintain Presentation: Accurately process deliveries in a timely manner and support store presentation by ensuring areas are clean and organised.
• Support Daily Operations: Collaborate effectively with the team and swarm to achieve smooth daily operations and contribute to overall store objectives.
• Prioritise Safety & Compliance: Uphold safety protocols, report hazards, and ensure all tasks adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
