Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a Customer Data Analyst to join the Customer Data & Intelligence team on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will transform complex data into actionable customer insights that drive better decisions and enhance customer experiences across Foodies brands.

You will work with data from across the business and external partners to identify trends, behaviours and opportunities that inform strategy and deliver commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer analytics and BI.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and opportunities.
• Proficiency in Tableau for dashboarding and visualisation.
• Strong skills in BigQuery and SQL or other scripting languages.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to translate insights for diverse audiences.
• Collaborative approach across teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, loyalty, or customer-focused environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Delivering customer insights, marketing intelligence and data-driven recommendations to support business priorities.
• Analyzing customer behaviour to identify opportunities for improved engagement and outcomes.
• Developing customer segmentation, targeting approaches and analytical solutions to support marketing initiatives.
• Creating dashboards, reports and visualisations that bring data to life.
• Working with internal teams and external partners to maximise value of customer data assets.
• Supporting the optimisation and automation of customer data, reporting and insight solutions.
• Measuring the effectiveness of customer and marketing activity through data and analysis.
• Championing a customer-centric, insight-led approach across the business.
