The Ahurea Tautoko role will work collaboratively with a team of other professionals to support Whānau Whaiora to achieve their respective support needs and desired aspirations. The Ahurea Tautoko will support Whānau Whaiora to reconnect to their extended Whānau, whakapapa, culture, iwi and hapu - creating connections through Tikanga Māori cultural assessments and to facilitate appropriate cultural interventions where required.
A minimum of at least 3 years’ experience working in a cultural role
Prefer a speaker and writer of Te Reo me ona Tikanga
Ability to use Te Reo both written and spoken
Well organised and disciplined in approach to work
Experience working with Whānau Whaiora and Whānau
A positive and professional can-do attitude
Required to consent and undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Consent to being NZ Police and/or Justice vetted
