Mahitahi Trust is seeking a resolute AOD Practitioner to join our team at the Office and Community Base in Manukau City. The role focuses on supporting Whānau Whaiora to achieve their support needs and aspirations, reconnecting to whakapapa and culture through Tikanga Māori assessments.

Candidates should have at least 3 years in a cultural role, with Te Reo proficiency (written and spoken). A positive, professional can-do attitude and consent to pre-employment checks are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a cultural role.
  • Prefer a speaker and writer of Te Reo me ona Tikanga
  • Ability to use Te Reo both written and spoken
  • Well organised and disciplined in approach to work
  • Experience working with Whānau Whaiora and Whānau
  • A positive and professional can-do attitude
  • Consent to pre-employment drug and alcohol test and NZ Police/Justice vetting

A minimum of at least 3 years’ experience working in a cultural role
