Job summary

Raghu Limited, a Wellington City based courier business, is hiring two courier drivers to service the Wellington City area. The role requires a minimum of 30 hours per week, with pay rates of NZ$26.00 to NZ$32.00 depending on experience.

Duties include sorting and sequencing items for delivery, delivering parcels to customers, receiving orders, collecting signatures, issuing receipts, and keeping delivery records.

Qualifications

• Must have strong interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and dispatch teams.
• Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading of packages.

Responsibilities

• Sort and sequence items for delivery.
• Deliver mail, parcels, documents and other items to customers' premises and mailboxes.
• Receive orders for deliveries from customers.
• Collect signatures.
• Issue and collect receipts for pick-up and delivery items.
• Keep records of items received and delivered.

for courier drivers due to recent change in staff. These positions will service the Wellington
City area.
Minimum working week will be 30 hours a week, location -Wellington City, pay rate $$26.00
to $32-00 depending on experience.

Other requirements

• Flexibility to work within 7 days a week operation including split shifts.
• Willing to work on weekends
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have a can-do attitude and good work ethics.
• Hold a valid clean drivers license.
• No previous traffic or criminal convictions – essential.
• Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading of packages.
