Corrections Officers at Waikeria Prison help ensure security and well-being for people in custody, undertaking unit induction, daily routine supervision and guidance. The role spans different units and sites, with a fully paid training programme: one week induction, five weeks at the National Learning Centre in Upper Hutt, then five weeks back on site before graduation.
