Westpac New Zealand Limited in Queenstown seeks a Relationship Associate for Corporate Banking. You will support Relationship Managers with credit analysis, financial insight and portfolio management to influence customer outcomes and lending health.

You will monitor risk, submission quality, and ensure compliance within policy timeframes. Ideal candidates hold a tertiary qualification in accounting or finance, with strong financial analysis, credit risk knowledge, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of NZ banking products and the NZ market.
• Understanding of NZ’s commercial environment and economic landscape.
• Strong financial analysis and credit assessment capability.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and credit risk.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
• Familiarity with legal and lending documentation is advantageous.
