Job summary

Meadowbank School is seeking an enthusiastic casual after-school care assistant to support the Out of School Care programme for 5-13 year olds. You will help with snacks, activities, homework and supervision, ensuring a safe and engaging environment after school hours.

Hours vary week to week with additional time during school holidays; you will join a small team dedicated to child wellbeing and positive behaviour management.

Job description

Our Out of School Care and Recreation programmes to children are between 5 - 13 years of age.
We operate from 7:00am - 8:30am and 2:30pm- 6:00pm on weekdays.
As this is a casual role, your hours will change from week to week.
We operate 7:30am-6:00pm during the school holidays so there is the potential for more hours over these times.
You will be assisting in the day-to-day running of the programme, ensuring that all children attending receive competent and appropriate supervision at all times.
This includes preparing snacks, running fun activities and help with their homework. You will be engaging with children, managing their behaviours and working as part of the team. This role would suit someone living in the Meadowbank area.
